I did my run this morning in single digit temps with biting winds. 112 days to go until the Boston Marathon may as well be 500 days on days like today, but I kept reminding myself of the ultimate goal. I'll finish Boston if I have to crawl (hopefully, I won't have to crawl--but I will if I have to)! The more important goal, however, is raising as much money as possible to help those who are suffering with Alzheimer's Disease or caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's. The mental fight to keep on running when I just don't feel like it becomes a little easier when I think of all the folks who are dealing with real challenges every day ... I CHOSE this challenge. People who are affected by Alzheimer's Disease didn't get a choice. So despite the cold and wind, I am lucky that I have this opportunity. Please help me to support the millions of people who are facing a challenge they did not choose - Alzheimer's Disease.
